Volcanic Mountains 🌋
Some mountains are created when molten rock called magma burst through the Earth’s crust in eruptions. This magma cools and hardens to form new rock layers, building up and creating volcanic mountains! Isn’t that cool? 😮
Fold Mountains 🏞️
Other mountains are formed when tectonic plates deep below the Earth’s surface move and crunch together, causing the land to fold and push upwards. These are called fold mountains, and they can be super tall and gorgeous! 🏔️
Block Mountains ⛰️
Sometimes, chunks of the Earth’s crust get pushed up or down by tectonic forces, forming block mountains. These mountains are like giant puzzle pieces fitting together to create amazing landscapes! 🌄
